One account, both surfaces
Sign in with the same account you use on the phone. The portal shows the jobs that device has synced. Nothing is imported from your phone that you did not choose to sync.
app.shotops.app is where synced ShotOps work shows up in a browser: the gallery, the filing, the markup, the reports, and the state of every device and backup. Same account as the phone, no second login to remember.
The portal is not a second camera and not a project-management suite. It exists for the work that is genuinely easier with a keyboard, a large screen, and a mouse.
Sign in with the same account you use on the phone. The portal shows the jobs that device has synced. Nothing is imported from your phone that you did not choose to sync.
Browse synced media by job, by project, or by date, with paging that survives a job holding thousands of items. Anything that arrived without a job lands in an unfiled queue instead of disappearing.
Reassign media to the right job, set phases and tags in bulk, mark up an image with a mouse instead of a thumb, and build the report PDF at a desk rather than in a truck.
See which phones are connected, what has finished uploading, and what is still queued. If a backup is behind, the portal is where you find out before you need the photo.
Sign-in and device controls, recovery settings, subscription status, and account deletion all live here. Deletion is also documented on the account-deletion page.
Crew-managed work stays with its crew. A crew workspace is visibly separate from your personal one, and a crew never gains access to your personal or local jobs by your signing in here.
ShotOps encrypts Personal Pro media on the device, before upload. The encrypted bytes go to private object storage through the storage gateway. The job-source backup key is not sent to the identity provider, the database, or the storage bucket.
That is why the portal can show you your photos: the browser decrypts them with a key you hold, after you sign in. It is also why we cannot show them to anyone else, and cannot recreate a recovery kit you have lost. Keep the recovery kit somewhere other than the phone.
The full description of what is stored, where, and for how long is in the privacy policy.
If none of those describe you, stay on the free local camera. It is not a lesser version.
Stuck signing in, or not sure whether your account has portal access? Contact support and say whether the job in question is local or synced.
Same account as the phone. Your synced jobs are waiting on the other side of the sign-in.
