1. The service
ShotOps is a work camera for Android that captures, organizes, and exports job photos, videos, documents, and codes. The free local mode works on your device without an account or network access. Optional paid or invitation-based tiers ("Pro", "Crew", or successor names) add hosted sync, a web portal, and encrypted backup. These terms cover the app, the web portal at app.shotops.app, this website, and related support.
ShotOps is currently in beta. Beta features may change, be withdrawn, or behave unexpectedly, and beta builds may be distributed outside Google Play.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your sign-in credentials and any recovery kit secure. Envy Forge cannot recreate a lost user-held recovery kit.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account, including activity by people you invite or devices you enroll.
- If you use ShotOps on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these terms.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use ShotOps to capture, store, or share content you do not have the right to capture, store, or share, or to record people where recording is prohibited.
- Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, malicious, or that contains malware.
- Probe, scan, overload, or interfere with the service, its infrastructure, or other users' accounts, or attempt to bypass usage limits, security, or access controls.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or resell the service except where the law expressly allows it.
- Use automated tools to access the service at volumes or in ways not intended for normal use.
We may suspend or limit access that we reasonably believe violates these terms or threatens the service.
4. Your content
You own the photos, videos, documents, job data, and other material you create or upload ("Customer Content"). Envy Forge does not claim ownership of Customer Content.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, and display Customer Content only as needed to provide the service you have enabled (for example, to sync a job or serve it in the web portal), to keep the service secure, and to comply with law. This license ends when the content is deleted from our systems, subject to normal backup cycles and legal holds.
Local-only content stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
You are responsible for keeping copies of important work. ShotOps is not an archival or records-retention system of record.
5. Availability and changes to the service
We try to keep hosted features available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, including beta features, with or without notice. Where practical we will give reasonable notice before discontinuing a paid feature.
ShotOps depends on third-party providers (for example identity, database, hosting, storage, and mapping services). Their outages may affect the service.
6. Pro subscriptions and billing
No paid plan is currently offered. Personal Pro is in invitation-only beta at no charge, and no payment method is collected. The terms in this section take effect if and when paid plans open; the price, the billing channel, and any refund or trial terms will be shown at the point of purchase before you are charged anything.
Paid tiers are billed as described at the point of purchase. Unless stated otherwise:
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Prices, plan limits, and included features are shown in the Plans section and may change with notice; changes apply from your next renewal.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated in a specific offer.
- Purchases made through Google Play are subject to Google's billing terms and refund process.
- Taxes may be added where applicable.
If a payment fails, we may downgrade the account to the free local tier after a reasonable grace period. Hosted data may be retained for a limited time and then deleted.
7. Termination
You may stop using ShotOps at any time and may delete your account through the account controls or by following the account-deletion instructions.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the service becomes impractical. Where reasonable we will give notice and an opportunity to export hosted content.
Sections 4 (license scope), 8, 9, and 10 survive termination.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
ShotOps is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements, that captured media will be preserved, or that hosted data will be free of loss.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Envy Forge and IT Envy Technology Solutions LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred US dollars (US$100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places the limitations apply to the extent permitted.
9. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify Envy Forge and IT Envy Technology Solutions LLC against claims arising from your Customer Content or your use of the service in violation of these terms or applicable law.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washoe County, Nevada, and you consent to their jurisdiction. This matches the governing law and venue used across IT Envy Technology Solutions LLC services. There is no mandatory arbitration clause and no class-action waiver.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will post the updated terms here with a new date and, where we have your contact details, notify you by email or in the app. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
